The Utah Charter School is proud to provide school leaders and teachers professional development symposiums annually.
Our 2021 Symposium was held in the Show Barn at Thanksgiving Point with Utah's First Lady, Abby Cox as our keynote speaker. With Chad Kerby, a national motivational speaker, Amy Chandler, CEO of My Hero Journey, Natalie Lewis, an international speaker and Cory Henwood, founder of Launch H.S.
Our 2020 Symposium was our first ever online symposium. Due to the worldwide pandemic we were not able to be together in person but we had nearly 350 teachers and school leaders from around the state attend via Zoom!
Our 2019 Symposium was held at the Grand America in SLC. We were thrilled to have Dr. Timothy Shriver and Governor Spencer Cox come to share their expertise on current social and emotional learning. "Our students need to know that we care before they can learn from us", was the theme of the day.
